I recently purchased a USGI 4 Piece Sleeping System for $58 on Amazon.com. The bag I received was in great shape with no defects other then minor wear. Pictured is the bag assembled and a separate picture that shows the system's individuals pieces. For the price this is the best sleeping system available for all climates due to its modular nature. The USGI sleeping system by itself can protect individuals under the most extreme climates. The part of the system I like best is the Gore-tex Bivy outer system which acts as a moisture barrier. The complete system when issued new to the military cost well over $400. The 4 Piece Modular Sleeping System consists of: a green patrol bag rated to 30 degrees Fahrenheit; a black intermediate bag rated to -10 degrees if used alone and rated to -30 degrees when combined with the patrol bag and bivy; and the final component of the system is a black compression stuff sack. This is also a great sleeping system for your Emergency Preparedness Kit!
