With inflation around the corner everyone needs to assess their food storage needs. I suggest Augason Farms 30-Day Emergency Pail, even at today's price of $123 at Walmart.com (a 54% increase over the $79 price last year) this is a great deal for a quality long term storage food item. Although Walmart.com has consistently been the low cost provider for this product, the following Amazon.com link provides a less expensive option at $110. I always recommend purchasing this item on a recurring basis to build your long term food inventory. In addition to the product's 25-year shelf life food, this kit includes a plastic water bottle with a built-in filter, FireOn (a handy, quick-lighting fuel source), and a meal planner that is packed in a easily transportable water-tight six-gallon grab & go pail. I have yet to find a better quality long term storage product. For the cost and quality everyone should stock-up on this product.
ATF is processing suppressor "Form 4s" in just over 4 months. This is a great turnaround for the holiday months. I was extremely happy to get my approval back so quickly. Pictured is a GEMTECH WMR I just received. To me this suppressor is well weighted for even a small framed Walther P22. Although the transfer process is extremely easy, work with your Class III dealer if you have any questions on how to fill out the Form 4 paperwork. Don't allow the tax stamp cost of $200 prevent you from purchasing a suppressor. The hearing preservation and other benefits far outweigh the cost and wait. Suppressor ownership is allowed in 39 states. Buy your suppressor now for next summer's shoots.
Pickup some Trail Boss powder for subsonic performance in your AR platforms. I recently purchased the pictured 5lb Trail Boss keg for $119, to reload 300AAC and other rifle calibers to be used suppressed. Due to the "donut shaped" flake design of this powder, 5lbs will go a long way in rifle loads. The YouTube video below illustrates different suppressed high powered rifle sound levels you can achieve in AR single shot mode. As the video highlights, the lower pressures will not cycle your bolt. Any bullet rated less than the speed of sound results in the bullet not making the normal crack-bang noise that occurs when the bullet travels past a speed of 1050 fps. Trail Boss allows you to reach your desired fps at muzzle, for a much lower sonic signature. If you're like others that are waiting for a Form 4 approval, continue to stock up on threaded barrels, powder and reloading supplies that you'll need when your suppressor arrives.
